Role Summary: We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to develop and improve secure, scalable, highly available Azure and Kubernetes solutions for digital-asset and blockchain applications. The role focuses on Terraform, Helm, GitOps, CI/CD, observability, distributed systems, and secrets management, while supporting development teams when platform or deployment issues occur. Key Responsibilities Develop and improve secure, scalable, highly available Azure cloud solutions.Build and maintain Terraform, Helm, GitOps, and CI/CD solutions.Deploy and manage workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service.Implement monitoring and observability using Grafana and Prometheus.Apply secrets management and cloud-security practices.Support development teams in diagnosing and resolving platform, deployment, and runtime issues.Contribute to reliable distributed systems and blockchain-related cloud projects.Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders in English.Essential Skills — Mandatory DevOps/SRE Experience: More than 5 years of hands-on experience operating and improving production-grade cloud platforms.Infrastructure as Code: Strong hands-on experience building reusable, version-controlled infrastructure with Terraform.Observability: Enterprise-scale experience with Grafana and Prometheus, including dashboards, metrics, alerting, and operational monitoring.Microsoft Azure: Strong hands-on expertise designing and operating secure, scalable, highly available Azure solutions.Azure Kubernetes Service: Strong hands-on experience deploying, administering, scaling, upgrading, and troubleshooting AKS workloads.Helm: Strong hands-on experience packaging and managing Kubernetes applications and configuration with Helm.GitOps and CI/CD: Strong hands-on experience implementing automated delivery pipelines and GitOps-based deployment workflows.Distributed Systems: Strong understanding of resilient distributed-system architecture, scalability, high availability, and failure recovery.Secrets and Security: Hands-on experience with enterprise secrets-management solutions, least privilege, vulnerability remediation, and secure cloud operations.Development-production Support: Hands-on experience helping development teams diagnose and resolve platform, deployment, and runtime issues.Communication: Good English communication and collaboration skills across engineering, architecture, security, and business stakeholders.Preferred Skills — Good to Have Service Mesh and Zero Trust: Practical experience with Istio Service Mesh and zero-trust architecture.Regulated Environments: Practical experience delivering and operating platforms in banking or another regulated financial-services environment.Blockchain and DLT: Practical experience supporting blockchain or distributed-ledger platforms, including digital-asset use cases.Azure DevOps: Experience with Repos, YAML Pipelines, Artifacts, service connections, approvals, and environment controls.Automation: Strong scripting experience with PowerShell or Bash for platform provisioning and operational workflows.Additional Skills — Optional Flux or Argo CD: Familiarity with a dedicated GitOps controller for Kubernetes delivery.Policy as Code: Familiarity with Azure Policy, Open Policy Agent, Gatekeeper, or similar governance controls.Multi-Cloud: Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud in addition to Azure.Developer Enablement: Exposure to internal developer platforms, self-service workflows, reusable modules, or engineering accelerators.AI-Assisted Engineering: Familiarity with tools such as GitHub Copilot for development and automation support.Certifications: A relevant Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or security certification.
