Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our IT Security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the hands-on implementation, administration, and integration of security tools and practices across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). The DevSecOps Engineer will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to automate security controls, strengthen cloud, infrastructure, and code security, and ensure the delivery of secure and resilient CI/CD pipelines. Main ResponsibilitiesEmbed AI driven controls into SDLC and CI/CD pipelinesCollaborate with Developers, Platform Engineers, and System Administrators to design, build, and operate secure cloud solutions.Incorporate security throughout the entire SDLC and the CI/CD pipelines, adopting Shift Left and continuous security practices.Promote security best practices into DevOps pipelines.Administer and configure Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP).Automate continuous testing to proactively identify security vulnerabilities. Monitor security platforms and tools to identify and analyse suspected or confirmed security threats.Administer, configure and manage application security tooling, including: - Static Application Security Testing (SAST)- Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)- Software Composition Analysis (SCA) Candidate Profile Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security.Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS or Azure. Experience with containers and orchestration platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with modern CI/CD and DevOps platforms, including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, Prometheus, Grafana.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform) would be considered as an advantage.Hands on experience in building and maintaining DevSecOps pipelines, incorporating SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC and secrets scanning.Solid understanding of application security principles, OWASP Top 10, cloud threat models, and secure coding practices.Hands-on experience in automation using Python, Terraform, Bash and PowerShell, would be considered as an advantage.Experience with security technologies or tools including Threat Intelligence, WAF, would be considered as an advantage.Solid knowledge of modern cybersecurity and cloud technologies, as well as current development tools, practices, and methodologies.DevOps/DevSecOps orientated certifications such as AZ-400, CKS, GCSA, Practical DevSecOps (CDP, CDE) would be considered as an advantage.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Fluency in Greek and English.
