Java Software Engineer

As part of our development team, you’ll work closely with our CTO, 3 fellow developers and 2 testers on the core of our software application. A small, strong team where you’ll play an impactful role in shaping the future of our product. You focus on developing and improving the back-end of our platform, optimizing architecture and data processing while ensuring the security and stability of our system. You’ll fully leverage your technical skills and come up with innovative solutions. With your expertise, you’ll make valuable suggestions and streamline processes for all stakeholders, enabling us to work more efficiently and achieve better results. You provide technical support during integration projects with software vendors, banks and large companies, solving complex technical challenges. This gives you the opportunity to work on demanding projects and gain exposure to diverse technologies and industries. You work in a structured, precise way and write clean, reusable and easily testable code. You have proven experience with Java, Go and the Spring framework. Experience with API integrations, web services, Linux or other relevant technologies is a plus. You have deep knowledge of databases—not only how to use them, but how they work. Y ou have strong opinions on structured, high‑quality code, architecture and back-end technologies. You are fluent in Dutch and English, ensuring smooth collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders. You can work independently and enjoy being part of a small team where quick decision‑making, collaboration and knowledge sharing are central.
