Senior Software Engineer / Ruby On Rails / Integration /
Location: Wallingford - Oxfordshire (Hybrid) - onsite once every 4-6 weeks

As an Integration Engineer, you will play a key part in building and maintaining the integrations that connect customer WMS systems to our data insights platform.
Working closely with the engineering and integration support teams along with communicating externally with customers, developing custom parsers, API integrations, and data transformation logic to enable our robots to understand each customer's unique warehouse management system.
Scaling environment, end to end ownership and impactful work from day one.
Working with hardware devices means we have an interesting and varied tech stack, but for web applications this is primarily Ruby on Rails for backend applications.

Responsibilities / Skills
Developing and maintaining data parsers (both Ruby code and our dynamic, UI defined parser system) to extract and transform warehouse records from various formats (CSV, JSON, XML, Excel)Building custom API integrations to retrieve real-time data from customer warehouse management systemsImplementing data transformation logic to handle customer-specific requirements, edge cases, and format variationsWriting comprehensive automated tests (RSpec) to ensure parsing accuracy and data integrityDebugging and resolving customer-specific data issues through code fixes and parser improvements
