Description
A leading Energy Trading Firm in London is seeking a C# Software Engineer to join its Front Office technology team, developing bespoke applications that support traders, analysts and other commercial teams.
You'll work closely with business stakeholders to design, develop and deliver robust software solutions, taking ownership of projects from initial requirements and solution design through to implementation and release.
The role offers the opportunity to work across a range of technically challenging projects within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.
The .NET role:
As a Front Office Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and delivering modern applications that support front office trading teams.
Working across the full software development lifecycle, you'll take ownership of solutions from initial analysis and architecture through to development, testing, deployment and ongoing support.
You'll collaborate closely with traders, analysts and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software using modern Microsoft technologies.
This role offers the opportunity to influence solution design, work on distributed systems and contribute to both tactical and strategic technology initiatives within a highly collaborative engineering environment.

Skills:
Strong commercial experience developing applications using C#/.NET.Experience building applications using Angular or React, with Angular preferred.Good understanding of SQL Server or Oracle and relational database development.Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, testing and modern development practices.Experience designing robust, supportable software solutions within distributed environments.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment.Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
