## About the Role
Coffee IT is looking for a Medior/Senior Backend Developer to join a multidisciplinary development team in Utrecht.
You will work across a variety of client projects, designing and building backend applications, making architectural decisions, developing new features, extending existing functionality, and resolving technical issues.
You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, marketers, project managers, and other developers.
The role combines hands-on backend development with architecture, performance optimization, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Coffee IT works with technologies including TypeScript, NestJS, AWS, Prisma, Docker, microservices, RabbitMQ, and GitLab CI.
## Key Responsibilities
* Make technical decisions related to backend architecture.
* Set up backend applications for different client projects.
* Collaborate with front-end developers to determine application architecture.
* Develop well-structured and effective backend code.
* Develop new features and extend existing functionality.
