We're Hiring: DevOps Engineer Old Thimi | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM | 6 days/week | Full-time About the Role You'll own the infrastructure and deployment pipeline that keeps our app running reliably as we build and scale. From setting up CI/CD to managing cloud environments and monitoring uptime, you'll make sure our engineering team can ship fast without breaking things. As an early hire, you'll design our DevOps practices from scratch rather than inheriting someone else's setup. Great fit for someone who enjoys automating away manual work and staying calm when something goes wrong at 2 AM. Responsibilities - Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth, reliable deployments - Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) — provisioning, scaling, and cost optimization - Monitor system performance, uptime, and set up alerting for issues - Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes - Collaborate with backend/mobile engineers to streamline release processes - Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) as needed - Maintain backups, disaster recovery, and incident response processes Requirements - 2+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) - Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) - Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus - Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation - Understanding of monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, etc.) is a plus
