Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and reliable batch and streaming data pipelines in our modern cloud environmentImplement cutting-edge data engineering best practices to guarantee the quality and consistency of our crucial data assetsTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues with data feeds, ensuring uninterrupted flow and availabilityEstablish and maintain strong communication channels between business and technical teams regarding the strategic use of company dataFull ownership of the development lifecycle and ability to work independently if necessaryAbout you: Experienced data engineer with 3+ years in data integration & real time streamingExperience in streaming big datasets using Spark or similarExperience with AWS or GCP Cloud data processing solutionsExperience in programming with Python or Scala/JavaExcellent command of spoken EnglishKeen attention to detail and data qualityComfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst interacting with a variety of different disciplinesProven ability to prioritise and deal with problems systematically and provide clear communications regarding the issues, resolution times and solutions And then some nice to haves: Hold an academic degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science or mathematicsExperience within the iGaming industry and / or regulatory aspect of iGaming would be considered an assetExperience in SQL query writing and optimisationExperience with AirflowExperience with data warehousing will be considered an assetExperience with data warehousing will be considered an asset Benefits So what can you expect from ComeOn as a place of work?
