We deliver projects for companies operating in the oil & gas, chemical, power, mining, water, and other industrial sectors.
Due to the expansion of our project portfolio, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Industrial Automation / Process Control Engineer – PLC & SCADA to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the implementation of industrial automation and process control projects.Develop and analyze technical solutions for Process Control and Automation Systems.Work with Technical Specifications, P&IDs, I/O Lists, Cause & Effect diagrams, Control Philosophies, and other engineering documentation.Develop system architectures for industrial automation and control systems.Configure and program PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.Develop HMI/SCADA graphics, control algorithms, sequences, and process visualization.Develop, maintain, and verify I/O databases and signal lists.Configure AI/AO/DI/DO channels, communications, and industrial network interfaces.Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and start-up activities.Perform technical analysis of equipment and develop appropriate engineering solutions.Coordinate technical matters with clients, engineering companies, equipment manufacturers, and subcontractors.Prepare technical documentation, test procedures, FAT/SAT protocols, reports, and as-built documentation.Participate in commissioning and project activities at industrial sites, including business trips.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Process Control, or a related technical field.Good understanding of industrial automation and process control system architecture.Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial communication systems.Ability to read and understand P&IDs, electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.Understanding of field instrumentation and final control elements.Knowledge of analog and digital signals and their processing principles.Confident user of MS Office.English – Intermediate or higher, sufficient for working with technical documentation and communicating on technical matters.Willingness to travel to industrial project sites.
Would Be an Advantage
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, and C#.Experience with industrial automation platforms from Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa, ABB, Rockwell Automation, or other major automation vendors.Practical experience in PLC/DCS programming and configuration.Experience with SCADA/HMI development and configuration.Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, PROFIBUS/PROFINET, OPC UA/DA, EtherNet/IP, and other industrial protocols.Experience participating in FAT/SAT and commissioning activities.Knowledge of relevant IEC/ISA standards and industry practices.Experience with SIS/ESD/F&G systems will be considered an additional advantage.
