The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Container Platform Engineer to support the deployment, automation, optimization, and operational management of Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms across enterprise environments. In this role, you will work closely with platform architects, infrastructure teams, DevOps teams, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native platforms supporting enterprise applications, managed services, and AI-driven workloads. Key Responsibilities Container Platform Engineering Deploy, configure, upgrade, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across private and hybrid cloud environmentsImplement scalable, resilient, and secure container platform solutions aligned with architectural and operational standardsSupport lifecycle management and operational maturity of platform services Automation & Infrastructure as Code Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management toolsSupport GitOps workflows, CI/CD integrations, and platform automation initiativesImprove operational efficiency through standardization and automation Monitoring, Reliability & Operations Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutionsSupport capacity planning, performance optimization, scalability, and resiliency initiativesTroubleshoot and resolve complex platform, networking, storage, and orchestration issues Security & Compliance Ensure Kubernetes and OpenShift environments comply with security standards and operational best practicesSupport secure platform configurations, access management, and operational governance controlsContribute to platform hardening and compliance initiatives Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with architects, DevOps teams, and application teams to improve developer experience and platform adoptionEvaluate new technologies and enhancements within the cloud-native ecosystemContribute to technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooksProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline4+ years of hands-on experience managing Kubernetes and/or OpenShift environments at scaleExperience operating in a senior engineering capacity within platform or infrastructure teamsStrong expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift administration, deployment, troubleshooting, and upgradesExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AnsibleStrong Linux systems administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)Experience implementing observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Elasticsearch, or similar platformsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience with container networking, ingress controllers, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) conceptsFamiliarity with GitOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practicesExperience with service mesh technologies such as IstioFamiliarity with hybrid cloud, private cloud, and OpenStack environmentsExposure to AI/ML workloads running on Kubernetes/OpenShift platformsRelevant Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, or cloud certifications What We’re Looking For A highly motivated and hands-on platform engineer with strong cloud-native expertise and a passion for operational excellence.
