As a Senior UI Developer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and operational support of the user-facing web applications supporting the Settlements platform. The ideal candidate must be results-oriented and self-motivated, with a passion for crafting intuitive, high-performance user interfaces. This role focuses exclusively on front-end development, so deep, hands-on expertise building modern web applications in React is imperative. The candidate will own the front-end feature implementation, partnering closely with backend developers to deliver polished, user-centric experiences. Responsibilities Contribute to the design and development of user-facing web applications supporting the Settlements platformBe able to lead an effort to design, architect and build new front-end components and features.Be able to independently handle project activities related to builds and deployments.Be able to create software tests, verify the functionality and quality of the software.Create design documentation for new software development and subsequent versions.Provide second-tier production support for 24/7 applications.Provide support for deployments during maintenance windows.Troubleshoot issues as they arise, in the dev, QA and production rollout cyclesKeep test environments up to date and in working order, creating environment-specific configurations and applications as necessaryPartner with UX designers, business analysts, and product management to translate new requirements into intuitive interfaces.Identify opportunities to improve and optimize applications.Follow team guidelines for quality and consistency within the design and development phases of the application(s).Follow company software development processes and standards. Knowledge And Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience building modern, user-facing web applications3+ years of hands-on experience with ReactStrong proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSSExperience with state management (e.g., Redux) and component-based architectureExperience building user-centric web applications with focus on usability, workflows, and performanceSolid understanding of security concerns for web-based applicationsExperience consuming RESTful APIs; a working understanding of backend/server-side concepts is a plusExperience with writing comprehensive unit testsExperience with SDLC Tools like GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, gradle, or equivalent toolsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsWorking knowledge of software testing, building high quality software, and experience with software testing tools, regression testing etcWorking knowledge and use of AI tools such as GitHub copilot, Cursor, or Claude is a plusProven success working in a team environment Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
