Your Responsibilites
You will work on one of our core business platforms, where reliability and the ability to diagnose production issues are as important as delivering new functionality.
Application Development & Maintenance: You maintain, develop, and continuously improve business-critical web applications.
This includes existing legacy applications and newer components.
You will work on new features, technical improvements, modernization, and the reliable operation of our systems.Backend & Frontend Development: You primarily develop backend solutions in PHP and Symfony and implement smaller frontend changes where required.Legacy Application Development: You work confidently with established and legacy codebases.
You analyze existing implementations, understand their business logic and dependencies, and improve them step by step while keeping our production systems stable.Incident & Problem Resolution: You analyze and resolve software errors and production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions rather than only addressing symptoms.Monitoring & Observability: You contribute to improving application monitoring and operational transparency, including error logging, error aggregation, and metrics.Solution Design: You independently contribute to the design and implementation of software solutions based on business and technical requirements and support the onboarding of new components and applications.
Your Profile
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification, alternatively relevant professional experience in software developmentAt least 4 years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in PHP and web application developmentExperience with Symfony or another modern PHP framework and a solid understanding of framework conceptsComfortable working with and improving existing and legacy applicationsGood knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, relational databases, and Git; experience with Zend Framework, Laravel, React, or jQuery is a plusStructured problem-solving approach, focus on maintainable and reliable code, and very good English skills; German is an advantage

Salary:
The minimum monthly gross salary for this position is € 3.500,-- (incl.

Actual compensation can be above this, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
