Senior DevOps Engineer - PERM ($$$, 2-4 months Bonus, Group Medical etc.)

Our client is a well-known company in HK and they are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to cope with their business Key Responsibilities · Kubernetes Management: Oversee the deployment and management of the Kubernetes container platform, with a focus on OpenShift. · CI/CD Optimization: Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support various deployment strategies, including canary releases, blue-green deployments, and emergency rollbacks. · Automation and GitOps: Implement and manage GitOps workflows for automated application deployments and updates across Kubernetes clusters. · Monitoring and Alerting: Utilize tools like Prometheus and the ELK Stack for service log collection and proactive monitoring to ensure system reliability. · Security and Incident Management: Maintain platform security through regular patching, vulnerability management, and oversee production incidents with thorough root cause analysis (RCA). Requirements · Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. · Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or DevOps role · Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Openshift, Kubernetes, NGINX, Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, Terraform, and foundational networking principles. · Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation tasks. · Security Awareness: Solid knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements, with familiarity in ISO 27001 standards being a plus.
