Responsibilities
Design, build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines that support both application and infrastructure deliveryBuild and maintain AWS cloud solutions centered on automation, scalability, security, and dependabilityOversee and improve infrastructure-as-code setups using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormationStreamline operational and deployment workflows through Bash, Python, Shell scripting, and other applicable scripting toolsMaintain source control and support build/release workflows with tools including Git, GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeDeployWork closely with development and infrastructure teams to establish best practices around deployment, monitoring, and reliabilityTake part in initiatives focused on improving tools and platforms, upgrading environments, and advancing DevOps practicesHelp maintain alignment between cloud environments and AWS security best practices, covering IAM roles, security groups, and other controlsProvide support for networking tasks across both AWS and on-premises setupsPlay a role in troubleshooting operational issues, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvements
Requirements
7+ years of demonstrated experience working with AWS DevOps methods and cloud-based delivery systemsExtensive background in developing and integrating CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Git, GitLab CI/CD, and JenkinsSkilled in AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, along with AWS APIs and other cloud-based toolsPractical experience working with Terraform and AWS CloudFormationDeep familiarity with AWS security best practices, covering IAM roles and policies, security groups, and principles of access control and secure setupCompetency in scripting and automation using Bash/Shell, Python, and SQLSome exposure to Perl for automation and scripting purposesPractical knowledge of orchestration and automation platforms like Ansible, Puppet, and RundeckStrong command of Linux/Unix systemsSolid grasp of networking fundamentals, spanning both cloud and on-premises connectivityWillingness and ability to engage in tooling improvements, platform upgrades, and broader DevOps advancement projectsEnglish proficiency at a B2+ level or higher
