The role focuses on designing, building, deploying, and managing secure, scalable Azure workloads while adhering to enterprise architecture standards. The candidate will provide technical leadership and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions for the Investment, Wealth, and Superannuation domain. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available Azure cloud workloads aligned with enterprise architecture standards. • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to enable automated, reliable, and repeatable deployments. • Create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to provision, govern, and maintain Azure resources consistently across environments. • Work extensively with YAML-based pipeline definitions and automation frameworks to streamline application and infrastructure delivery. • Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, pull request processes, and release governance using Azure Repos. • Implement and manage secure identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including RBAC, Conditional Access, Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, and SCIM integrations. • Design and implement secrets management and certificate lifecycle solutions using Azure Key Vault to support security, compliance, and operational requirements. • Develop automation and operational tooling using at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python to improve platform efficiency, reliability, and maintainability. • Design and implement Azure cloud solutions leveraging core Azure services including compute, networking, storage, security, monitoring, and integration services, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence. • Establish and promote cloud engineering standards, reusable modules, templates, governance controls, and DevOps best practices across delivery teams. • Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to support operational excellence and proactive incident management. • Review solution designs and implementation approaches to ensure alignment with security, resilience, performance, compliance, and operational requirements. • Leverage approved engineering productivity tools, including GitHub Copilot where applicable, to improve development efficiency, code quality, and automation outcomes. • Collaborate with architects, developers, security teams, platform engineers, operations teams, and project stakeholders to deliver cloud-native and hybrid solutions. • Contribute to architectural documentation, operational runbooks, design standards, and knowledge repositories to support platform maturity and continuous improvement.
