Description

Microsoft Copilot Studio Developer Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Copilot Studio Developer to design, build, and maintain production‑grade conversational agents and automation solutions across Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Dataverse. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on delivering end‑to‑end agent experiences that integrate with Microsoft Teams and enterprise systems. Working closely with the Solution Architect, business stakeholders, and enterprise system owners, you will translate business workflows, regulatory constraints, and operational requirements into durable, secure, and scalable agent and automation designs. You will own solutions from topic modeling and dialog orchestration through workflow development, data modeling, and integration. This role operates in a Forward Deployed model. You will work embedded alongside customers and end users—on‑site or virtually—building, shipping, and iterating on solutions directly in their environment. Rather than handing off requirements, you stay close to the problem, deploy quickly, gather real‑world feedback, and refine agents in production until they deliver measurable value. Key Responsibilities Agent Design & Development • Design, build, and maintain Microsoft Copilot Studio agents, including topic modeling, dialog orchestration, and fallback strategies. • Own and implement end‑to‑end agent solutions spanning Teams experience, Power Automate workflows, and enterprise system integrations. • Translate business workflows, regulatory constraints, and operational requirements into durable agent and automation designs. Automation & Orchestration • Develop complex Power Automate cloud flows with orchestration logic, error handling, retries, and long‑running operations. • Build reusable components, connectors, and integration patterns that accelerate delivery and promote consistency across solutions. Data & Solution Modeling • Design and manage Dataverse data models to support agent state, case/session context, results, and auditability. • Apply enterprise qualities—security, auditability, and scalability—across data models and solution behavior. Integration & Delivery • Integrate with enterprise systems using connectors, REST APIs, and structured payloads, including custom connector patterns where required. • Support solution testing, validation, deployment, and knowledge transfer to operations and support teams. • Produce technical documentation, design artefacts, and operational runbooks aligned with Microsoft recommended practices. Who You Are • Builder who stays current. You ship. You have things on the internet, in production, in open source, or in personal projects, that prove it. You follow the frontier closely, try new tools as they launch, and have strong opinions on what’s actually useful versus hype. • You’ve built and deployed AI agents into production, where they did real work for real users. • You’ve worked in a customer‑facing role before. Required Experience • Minimum 5 years working with Microsoft Power Platform technologies in enterprise or consulting environments. • Demonstrated experience building production‑grade Power Platform solutions, including Copilot Studio agents and complex Power Automate flows. • Strong experience designing end‑to‑end workflows that integrate multiple systems and persist durable state using Dataverse. • Proven ability to model data and solution behavior with enterprise qualities in mind, including security, auditability, and scalability. • Experience integrating with enterprise systems using connectors, REST APIs, and structured payloads; familiarity with custom connector patterns preferred. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders in a regulated environment.
