Summary ✨ AI‑Generated

Own the infrastructure platform for AI agents deployed in isolated customer environments within highly regulated industries. You will design and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure using Terraform and Helm, build systems that reconcile desired and actual state, and improve autoscaling and cost efficiency. Data residency, deployment isolation, and auditability are central requirements.

Highlights

Own infrastructure for isolated AI-agent environments in highly regulated industries, with substantial responsibility for Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, scalability, cost optimization, and compliance.

Description

About Runspace Runspace makes enterprise back-office work autonomous. Banks and insurers run on repetitive, high-volume operations that no one has time to fix. We build the system of action that sits on top of the systems of record: AI agents that reason from the handling, work across UI, APIs and internal tooling, run inside the customer's own cloud, and leave a full audit trail. Backlogs clear, capacity scales without headcount, and every action is governed. The role You will own infrastructure provisioning and management for AI agents deployed in isolated environments inside banks and insurers. This is Kubernetes infrastructure in heavily regulated settings, where data residency, isolated deployments and audit compliance are non-negotiable. What you will do Design and maintain Terraform and Helm configurations for per-customer isolated environments Build reconciliation systems that keep desired and actual infrastructure state in sync Implement autoscaling, cost optimisation and scale-to-zero Develop observability tooling to track agent execution costs and troubleshoot failures Contribute to security baselines including RBAC, pod security policies and network controls Engage directly with customer security and audit teams Stack Azure AKS, Terraform, Helm, Cilium, Node Auto-Provisioning, SingleStore, GitHub Actions What we are looking for Production Kubernetes experience, including incident response Strong infrastructure-as-code skills; you automate rather than click through cloud portals You make architectural decisions independently that still hold up a year later A cost optimisation mindset grounded in business impact Comfortable engaging directly with customer technical and compliance teams Able to work as the solo infrastructure engineer without detailed specifications Practical Amsterdam, remote-first. How to apply Send us a short description of the hardest infrastructure problem you have solved. No cover letter required. Applications are reviewed by the team directly, and you can expect a response within days.
