Design and deploy Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters with private cluster configurations, managed identities, and RBAC.Configure AKS networking Azure CNI, Kubenet, internal load balancers, and ingress controllers (AGIC NGINX).Integrate AKS with Azure Container Registry (ACR), Key Vault via CSI driver, and Azure Monitor for containers.Manage Helm chart deployments, namespaces, resource quotas, and pod security policies.Implement node pool autoscaling, cluster upgrades, and blue-green deployment strategies.Harden AKS environments policy enforcement (Azure Policy/OPA Gatekeeper), network policies, and image scanning.Build and maintain CICD pipelines for containerized workloads using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.Troubleshoot cluster and workload issues, including networking, DNS, resource constraints, and crashes.Develop runbooks and operational documentation for AKS platform management.Coordinate with application teams to onboard workloads onto the AKS platform.
Essential Skills:
More than 5 years of Kubernetes experience with at least 2 years on AKS in production.Strong knowledge of Kubernetes internals scheduling, networking, storage, RBAC.Experience with Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps workflows (Flux/ArgoCD).Proficiency in Azure CNI networking and AKS private cluster configuration.Hands-on experience with ACR, managed identities, and Key Vault integration.CICD pipeline experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) preferred.Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
