Full Stack Software Developer

POSITION IS ONSITE 3x PER WEEK IN CORONA, CA.*** Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Software Developer (Full Stack) to lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in full-stack development, a deep understanding of software engineering principles, and a track record of delivering scalable, high-quality solutions. As a mid-level developer, you will collaborate closely with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective software delivery. As with any position, additional expectations exist. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain software applications, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirementsParticipate in architectural design decisions and contribute to software design patterns and frameworksWork closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and QA engineers, to deliver software on time and within scopeWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practicesConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality software deliveryDebug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues in a timely manner, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutionsCollaborate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectivesStay current with new technologies, tools, and industry trends, and apply them to ongoing development projectsAssist in mentoring and supporting junior developers, providing guidance on coding practices and problem-solving Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in software developmentProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScriptExperience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and back-end technologies (Node.js, .NET, Java)Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for application deploymentStrong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)Solid experience with Agile methodologies and version control tools (e.g., Git)Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of software development best practices, including secure coding and performance optimizationEligible for Security ClearanceCompTIA Security+Must be able to work onsite daily in Corona, CAMust be a U.S. CitizenIf applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered Preferred Qualifications Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience working with microservices architecture and distributed systemsStrong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environmentPrior experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical design discussions Company Summary Join the VSolvit Team!
