Summary ✨ AI‑Generated

A fast-moving technology venture is building a new real-money digital platform from the ground up and is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a frontend lean. Most of the work centers on a web experience built with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, with ongoing contributions to Go backend services. This is an early-stage opportunity with substantial product and technical influence.

Highlights

Fully remote senior role with competitive base compensation, bonus, and stock. Engineers joining early will have significant influence over a new platform, with substantial ownership of the web experience and meaningful backend contribution.

Description

Not a frontend role. A full-stack role that leans frontend. Build the platform where fans actually trade on the moments they care about! I am supporting a true 0→1 team building a real-money prediction and trading platform. The kind of product where sports, culture, and markets collide. They're not just building a place to trade; they're building a destination people come back to for the story behind the market, competing head-on with the likes of Polymarket and Kalshi not just as a trading venue but as a source of news and insight in its own right. Every sprint reshapes the product based on what they're learning from real users, and the engineers who join now will define how this platform looks for years to come. Read this before you apply: This is a full-stack engineering role. Roughly 70-80% of your time will be on the web experience in React, Next.js and TypeScript but the rest is real, ongoing contribution to the Go backend services that power it. They are however open to whatever backend language you have used as long as you have used it and feel comfortable working on a product end to end... Even if you are much more comfortable with the FE side of things You'll be: Leading design, development, and deployment of high-quality, high-craft web experiences in React, Next.js, and TypeScriptOwning features end-to-end, frontend through backend, not handing off at the API boundaryWorking shoulder-to-shoulder with design and other full-stack engineers who lean backendEstablishing and living the standards for a team that's genuinely AI-native, not AI-adjacentContributing to backend platform services in Go alongside your frontend work (this is a real, ongoing part of the job) What's important: Strong, genuine, hands-on backend production experience. Go is their primary language, but they care more about your engineering instincts than which specific language you've used, so long as you've actually shipped and owned backend services, not just consumed APIs someone else builtEngineers who are meticulous about what they put on the page, and who've taken a UI from nothing to something used at real scaleTheir toughest bar isn't the technical interview, it's whether you can operate cross-functionally. They want engineers who talk about people first, own outcomes, influence rather than just implement, and make pragmatic calls with incomplete information. If your instinct in a cross-functional conversation is to dive into implementation detail, this probably isn't the roleThat you are a big AI advocate and actively shipping production code faster with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot, and able to talk specifically about how it's changed the way you work (this is very important and will come up in the interview) They need someone with: Strong, genuine production experience in React/Next.js/TypeScript, building B2C, consumer-facing web productsReal, production experience contributing to backend services in a modern stack (Go, Node.js/TypeScript, Java, PythonReal examples of using AI tools to accelerate your own delivery (not just building AI features as a product)Experience leading or shaping work that cuts across teams, functions, or stakeholdersGenuine curiosity about prediction markets, trading products, or fast-moving consumer platforms (bonus points if you've already poked around the space before we've even spoken)Experience on a 0→1 build where the roadmap moves in five-week cycles and your fingerprints will be all over the product Further details Fully remote, UK-based (right to work in the UK required)Live coding/pairing stage as part of the process (in any language), fundamentals-focused, AI tools not used in that specific exercise Systems Design interview to follow + a discussion based interview on your ways of workingCompetitive salary, dependent on level (Engineer III through Senior) + Bonus + Stock options + Unlimited Holiday + More
