About Apata
Apata is one of Ireland’s fastest-growing fintech companies and a global leader in 3DS authentication services.
It was founded and is led by serial entrepreneurs Niall Hogan and Shekinah Adewumi, whose previous company, Touchtech Payments, was acquired by Stripe in 2019.
Based in Dublin 2, the 30-strong Apata team design, build, and sell modern 3DS products to traditional banks, digital banks, issuer processors, and fintech issuers globally.
Today, the Apata platform is used by Nubank, Wise, Galileo, Thredd and over 300 other issuers worldwide, authenticating hundreds of millions of ecommerce transactions every year.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in line with our release plans.Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications to support our business.Collaborate with back-end developers and UI/UX designers to improve usability.Get feedback from, and build solutions for users.Write functional requirement documents and guides.Ability to convert wireframes and mock-ups into high quality components.Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
Ideal Candidate
Proven work experience as a frontend developer.6+ years of strong frontend experience with a modern JavaScript framework (at least 2 with React).Strong experience with Typescript and Javascript.Advanced HTML and CSS experience.Experience with ES6.Familiarity with build tools, such as vite, webpack etc.Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).Understanding of layout aesthetics.Hard-working individual with initiative and self-motivation.Focused on quality.Positive and energetic attitude.
