Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Full-Stack Developer to join the technology team of a fast-growing, early-stage company building a multi-sided digital platform. You will take technical ownership of an existing application and play a hands-on role in making it fully functional, stable, and ready for launch. In this role, you will work across the backend and frontend of the product, with a particular focus on troubleshooting, improving, and completing the existing backend infrastructure. The application is already substantially built, so this is not a role focused purely on building from scratch. You will assess the current setup, identify what needs to be fixed or improved, and make practical decisions on whether to optimize, rebuild, or simplify different parts of the product. You will work closely with the founder across the customer-facing application and internal platforms, ensuring that core functionality, data flows, integrations, and real-time processes work reliably from end to end. Responsibilities Take full technical ownership of the existing application and assess what needs to be fixed, improved, optimized, or rebuiltTroubleshoot and improve backend functionality, with a strong focus on authentication, user profiles, databases, order flows, and real-time syncingWork across the product's main interfaces, including the customer app, driver app, retailer dashboard, and admin dashboardReview the existing Lovable-built application and make improvements while identifying areas that may require rebuilding or restructuringBuild, maintain, and optimize backend functionality using Supabase and related technologiesManage and work with code hosted on GitHub, ensuring a clean and maintainable development setupEnsure customer, driver, retailer, and admin data flows correctly across the platformTroubleshoot authentication, sign-in, profiles, dashboards, order management, and real-time updatesEnsure end-to-end order and operational flows function correctly across different user typesWork with booking, calendar-based, and other workflow-driven functionality where requiredIdentify technical issues proactively and recommend practical solutions based on scalability, reliability, and maintainabilityTest functionality thoroughly and resolve bugs or issues before launchMaintain clear documentation of the product setup, technical decisions, and key workflowsExplain technical decisions, challenges, and recommendations clearly to a non-technical founderWork independently and manage technical priorities with minimal supervisionEnsure a smooth technical handover and knowledge transfer if additional developers are brought into the team in the future Requirements 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with strong backend development experienceHands-on experience working with Lovable or strong familiarity with AI-assisted application development platformsStrong experience with Supabase or similar backend, database, and authentication platformsComfortable working with GitHub and existing codebasesProven experience troubleshooting, improving, and completing existing applications rather than only building new products from scratchStrong understanding of authentication, user profiles, databases, APIs, dashboards, and application workflowsExperience working with real-time data, syncing, notifications, or similar live application functionalityExperience working across multiple user interfaces or role-based platformsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly understand an existing technical setupAbility to determine when existing functionality should be fixed or optimized versus rebuiltComfortable working independently and taking full technical ownership of a productStrong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholdersComfortable working in an early-stage, founder-led environment with a high level of ambiguity and ownershipStrong attention to detail, reliability, and a practical approach to solving technical problems Nice to Have Experience building multi-sided products involving customers, drivers, retailers/vendors, and administratorsExperience with real-time order tracking or operational workflowsExperience quickly rebuilding or restructuring parts of an application when the existing architecture is difficult to maintainExperience working in early-stage startups or founder-led environmentsAbility and willingness to collaborate on-site in the future if required
