Description

AI & Data Applications Developer A growing technology organisation is looking for an AI & Data Applications Developer to join its Business Applications team. This is a hands-on development role focused on building AI-enabled applications, integrations and data solutions. You’ll work closely with developers, architects and technical leads to turn business requirements into practical, scalable solutions. This would suit a software developer with strong SQL/database experience who is interested in applying AI to real-world business problems. This is not a data science or ML research role. Key Responsibilities Build and support AI-enabled business applications.Develop APIs and integrations between AI platforms, applications and databases.Contribute to AI agents, workflows and AI-assisted processes.Design and maintain application databases and data models.Support data ingestion, integration, governance and security.Contribute to technical design, testing, deployment and optimisation.What We're Looking For 3+ years' software development experience.Strong SQL and relational database skills.Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server or similar.Experience with Python or another modern development language.Experience developing APIs and system integrations.Understanding of data modelling and application architecture.Experience with Azure or another major cloud platform.Git and modern software development practices.Desirable AI application development.RAG and vector databases.AI agents/orchestration.Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform or Dataverse.Data governance and security.
