Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies or storage.Experience programming in C++.Experience with distributed systems.Experience with algorithms. Our team is responsible for building and managing the core metadata infrastructure for Blobstore – a planet-scale distributed storage system that handles over 100 trillion objects and several million QPS. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the metadata infrastructure that powers Google's massive storage system, Blobstore, which is a critical storage system for products like YouTube, Photos, Workspace, Android, AI/ML platforms and more.
