Software & Data Engineer at VitalFluid Help make our machines smarter. VitalFluid's machines are already generating valuable data every day. The next step isn't collecting more data. It's using that data to improve performance, predict issues before they happen and make the machines increasingly intelligent. We're looking for a Software & Data Engineer who wants to take ownership of the platform behind this journey. You'll work with Azure, Python, machine data and machine learning to improve uptime, develop predictive maintenance capabilities and help shape the future intelligence of the product. Your role Some days you'll improve cloud infrastructure, data pipelines or Grafana dashboards. Other days you'll analyse sensor data, maintain machine learning models or investigate why a machine behaves differently in the field. Your focus: Own and improve the Azure-based data platform;Build reliable software and data solutions;Develop and maintain predictive maintenance models;Improve uptime, reliability and machine performance;Turn machine data into actionable insights;Help define the future roadmap for machine intelligence. What we’re looking for We’re looking for an engineer with a solid software foundation and a genuine interest in Data Science. You don’t need to arrive as a specialist in every technology on the list. You do need to be curious, comfortable taking ownership and motivated to understand what the data means in the context of a real machine. You probably bring: Professional experience developing software in Python;Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure;An understanding of Data Science and machine-learning workflows, including developing and deploying models;Familiarity with modern software delivery practices such as Git, CI/CD, automated testing and Docker;Experience working with databases, data pipelines or cloud-based backend systems;An analytical approach to solving problems and investigating root causes;The ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers from different disciplines;A continuous-improvement mindset and the motivation to keep developing both the platform and your own skills.
