As a Backend Developer, you'll:
Tackle ambiguous, loosely defined problems where the right solution isn't known yet.
Work in an AI-augmented engineering setup - using coding agents to prototype faster, explore more options, and spend your time on the hard problems rather than boilerplate.
Implement logic for new innovative features, making a significant impact on our product.
Work closely with mobile, hardware/embedded and other R&D engineers. Own the technical design end to end - scoping, planning, and estimating the full solution.
Set and maintain high standards for code quality, even in fast-moving experimental work.
Explore and suggest new technologies and improvements for existing functionalities.
We expect:
Solid expertise in Node.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript, with strong experience in MySQL and MongoDB. Hands-on experience using AI coding agents (e.g.
Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as part of your daily workflow - and good judgment about where they help and where they don't.
Hands-on experience with at least one cloud provider.
Comfort with ambiguity and a track record of self-directing through loosely defined problems - you're curious, you pick up new domains fast, and you take real ownership of what you build.
Fluency in Lithuanian and full proficiency in English are required.
