Role Overview
Our Client is launching a brand-new Collateralized Mortgage Obligation (CMO) business line in North America.
The full IT platform will be built from the ground up.
As a core member of the engineering team, you will design and develop a robust, high-performance platform that directly supports Front Office trading and structuring activity.
We are looking for a seasoned C# developer with deep experience in capital markets systems and, ideally, a strong background on CMO or structured products platforms.
You are comfortable working in a fast-moving build environment, making architectural decisions, and delivering production-quality code with a small, high-caliber team.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver core components of the CMO trading platform in C# / .NETBuild and maintain services for trade capture, pricing integration, position management, and risk feedsCollaborate with BAs and Front Office users to refine technical requirements and validate solutionsDefine and implement data models, APIs, and integration layers with upstream/downstream systemsEnsure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to engineering standardsContribute to architecture decisions: technology choices, service design, scalability patternsParticipate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, demos, retrospectives)Support UAT and production deployment; own post-go-live stabilization
Required Profile
5+ years of C# / .NET development in capital markets or financial servicesHands-on experience building or maintaining a CMO or structured products platformProven track record on at least one greenfield platform buildStrong understanding of Fixed Income / Front Office business domainExperience with high-throughput, low-latency system designProficiency with SQL / relational databases and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
