is a Croatian product-engineering firm building custom web and mobile software for clients such as Carlsberg, ESPGHAN and a Tier-1 EU bank.
Small team, no agency overhead, projects run as if they were our own.
The team is based in Slavonia and works remotely.We are hiring one backend-leaning developer for a new cloud platform project, starting as soon as possible.
Remote within Croatia; Slavonia is a plus because the team meets in person from time to time.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Design and build the backend: C# / ASP.NET Core and/or Python / FastAPI.
REST and WebSocket APIs, OAuth2 / OIDC, third-party integrations.Data and infrastructure: PostgreSQL, Redis, Azure managed services, GitLab CI/CD.AI integration as standard: LLM APIs (Claude, Azure OpenAI), RAG, streaming (SSE), prompt engineering, evals and guardrails.Frontend when needed: Angular / TypeScript, Angular Material, Tailwind CSS, NgRx / RxJS / Signals.
You do not need to be a frontend specialist, but you must be able to ship a feature from API to screen on your own.Talk directly to the client: requirements, estimates, demos, status.
There is no layer between developers and clients here.
MUST HAVE
3+ years of professional backend experience in C#/.NET or Python/FastAPI.Working Angular / TypeScript knowledge: you can maintain and extend an existing Angular frontend independently.Practical experience with REST APIs, PostgreSQL and cloud in production (Azure preferred).GitLab CI/CD, test automation, clean and maintainable code.AI-native workflow: daily AI-assisted coding (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and at least one production LLM integration.English for work with international clients.
NICE TO HAVE
Client communication and small-project management experience: estimates, planning, prioritisation, status reporting.Both backend stacks (.NET and FastAPI).RAG, MCP, agentic patterns.
Redis, WebSockets, OIDC hands-on.Based in Slavonia, or planning to move back.
