We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with a strong C++ background to lead a team developing high-quality software solutions in Linux-based environments.
This role combines hands on technical contribution with leadership responsibilities, requiring a balance between software engineering excellence and effective team management.
As a Technical Lead, you will drive technical decisions, mentor team members, coordinate development activities, and ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.
You will work closely with architects, project managers, customers, and cross-functional engineering teams to define solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional development.
Define and drive technical direction, architecture decisions, and development best practices.
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ applications and libraries.
Coordinate development activities, prioritize tasks, and track progress using Jira.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, testers, and integration engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
Ensure software quality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
Conduct code reviews and promote engineering excellence across the team.
Support estimation, planning, risk identification, and technical decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to development processes, tools, and team collaboration.
Work within Linux environments, utilizing build systems
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in software development, including at least 2-3 years in a technical leadership role.
Strong expertise in modern C++ development.
Solid understanding of Linux OS, including development tools, debugging, performance analysis, and environment configuration.
Experience leading software development teams and mentoring engineers.
Strong knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, and software development lifecycle.
Handson experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Very good English skills, both spoken and written.
Ability and willingness to work from the office 5 days per week.
Nice to Have:
Experience in automotive, energy, or telecommunication industries.
Handson experience with embedded systems, networking protocols, or multithreaded applications.
Knowledge of Python or Bash scripting.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
Previous experience working with distributed international teams.
Basel experience is a plus.
