Mid-Level Full-Stack Web Developer

Bureau for Visual Affairs plans, designs and develops user-experiences across culture, fashion and lifestyle, focusing on what defines today’s institutions and brands: experience, content and relevancy. It is looking for a full-time Midweight Full-Stack Web Developer to join its team in Borough, London. Responsibilities: In this role you will be part of a communicative, highly skilled development team, working on a wide variety of projects from large-scale content platforms to ecommerce. You will be working with our full-stack which typically includes Node.js and Python applications, React and GraphQL. You will be directly involved with our clients and design process. About You: Bureau is looking for a motivated self-starter with a keen interest in technology, who enjoys the process of working with what we think is a highly interesting community of clients (see below), and a very knowledgeable and motivated team. You should also bring with you a good eye for detail, communications skills and bring the following: At least 2–6 years experience, ideally within a design agency or creative startup / product teamKnowledge of Node.js and PythonFamiliarity with React.jsExperience with GraphQL / RESTAn interest in AI workflowsExperience with E-commerceAptitude for designing systems and problem solvingExperience translating designs into code with a high degree of fidelityGood knowledge of Javascript best practicesExperience with gitComfortable using command line tools About Us: Bureau for Visual Affairs is a midsize team, working at the progressive end of digital; it prides itself on bringing together forward thinking design and cutting-edge technology for some of the most relevant and interesting resting brands and organisations.
