About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer to join our innovative team at ISR Information Products AG. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the ongoing development and enhancement of our flagship product, Buildsimple, an AI-powered software platform for intelligent document processing. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing new features within our SaaS application, which is hosted on AWS infrastructure. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams including machine learning specialists, frontend developers, and cloud engineers to deliver seamless and scalable solutions. Your expertise will contribute to refining our software architecture, improving development workflows, and ensuring high-quality deployment through CI/CD pipelines. Whether your focus is backend, fullstack, or integrations, your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and innovation of our products. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least two years of professional experience in software development, with a strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Practical knowledge of agile methodologies and test-driven development is highly desirable, as it aligns with our development practices. Experience working with microservices architectures and databases, whether relational such as PostgreSQL or NoSQL solutions like DynamoDB and Elasticsearch, is a plus. A keen interest in modern cloud technologies and DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code, will set you apart. Excellent communication skills in German (minimum C1) and English (minimum B2) are essential to effectively collaborate within our diverse team. Responsibilities As a Software Developer at ISR Information Products AG, your core responsibilities will include contributing to the continuous development of our Buildsimple platform for intelligent document processing. You will design and implement new features, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with our technical standards. Your role involves optimizing the software architecture, improving development processes, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to facilitate smooth deployment cycles. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, designing and documenting APIs for internal and external use. Depending on your focus, you may work on backend development with Java and Spring Boot, or engage in full-stack development utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Material UI. Collaboration with the Machine Learning team will be integral, enabling the integration of AI components into our platform. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to uphold high-quality standards and ensure the reliability of our SaaS solutions.
