Scope
We're looking for an Infrastructure / Cloud Platform Engineer to join the IT Infrastructure team within IT Corporate.
You'll take end-to-end ownership of our infrastructure platforms—both on-premises and Microsoft Azure—using automation and DevOps practices to keep services reliable, scalable, and secure.
The role blends hands-on operations with engineering and platform evolution, working closely with Security, DevOps, Workplace, and Application teams to support our digital transformation.
As EVS is an NIS2 Essential Entity implementing ISO/IEC 27001:2022, you'll also help drive secure-by-design infrastructure, compliance, and audit readiness.
We're looking for someone technically strong, hands-on, and proactive about innovation and operational excellence.
Job Description
As part of the Core IT Infrastructure team, the Infrastructure Engineer will contribute to the following activities:
Infrastructure & Cloud Operations
Manage and monitor hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + Azure cloud)Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of platformsHandle incident, problem, and change management processesProvide 2nd and 3rd level support for complex infrastructure issuesConduct root cause analysis and deliver long-term fixes
Cloud & Platform Engineering
Design, deploy, and operate Azure infrastructure (IaaS & PaaS)Support platform standardization and scalability effortsTake part in architecture design and technical roadmap discussions
DevOps & Automation
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Help develop CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git)Streamline operational tasks through automation (PowerShell, scripting)Champion DevOps culture across the team
Security & Compliance (ISO27001)
Apply security baselines, patching, and hardening standardsAssist with ISO27001 controls implementation and complianceWork alongside InfoSec on vulnerability management and remediationHelp ensure audit readiness and supporting documentation
Resilience & Continuity
Uphold backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plansParticipate in testing and enhancing recovery processes

Strong knowledge of:
