Description

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer 5 - TV Product UI to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will focus on building and evolving the UI for a consumer-facing entertainment product, with a strong emphasis on delivering polished experiences for large-scale viewing devices. The engineer will partner closely with Product, Design, and test engineering teams to define scope, improve user journeys, and ship features that have measurable business impact. The work will require strong technical leadership across complex cross-functional efforts, along with hands-on development in modern JavaScript and TypeScript environments. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $320,000 – $500,000 annually Responsibilities Build advanced UI features for the company's consumer-facing TV application. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and enhance user experiences. Work in a TypeScript/JavaScript codebase using React frameworks and Redux. Ensure feature quality by writing testable code and creating automation scripts with test engineers. Contribute to business impact through measurable feature delivery. Qualifications At least 6 years of experience with consumer-facing products or applications. Experience as a tech or project lead on large cross-functional projects. Strong partnerships with Product and Design teams. Expert in JavaScript and TypeScript, with UI architecture experience. Familiarity with Node.js and GraphQL. Proven ability to innovate and create new paths in challenging situations. Curiosity about user experience and eagerness to build engaging features.
