Join HomeServe as a Gas Repair Engineer and play a vital role in keeping our customers’ homes running smoothly.
Location: MotherwellSalary: £46,250 + £1,500 guaranteed bonus in your first yearHours: You will average 40 hours per week (annualised hours - shorter hours in summer, longer in winter, with consistent pay).
Includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Gas Repair Engineer, you’ll be working in customers’ homes diagnosing and repairing gas appliances and heating systems.
Your Day-to-day Will Include
Diagnosing faults on boilers and central heating systemsCarrying out repairs to restore heating and hot waterCarrying out boiler servicesCompleting safety checks and ensuring compliance with regulationsManaging jobs independently while delivering excellent customer serviceRepresenting HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care

What We’re Looking For
Valid gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1, & CKR1Experience repairing gas appliances and central heating systemsFull UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points) Strong customer service skillsAbility to work independently and solve problems on siteA positive, proactive approach to your work
