Description

Role Overview We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a Cyber Security Strategic Engineering team, building and supporting backend services, APIs, cloud platforms, and DevOps automation that enable cyber data and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, and automation.Work with Python, Go, Java, or C#/.NET and apply SOLID, design patterns, testing, and code-quality practices.Build and operate solutions on AWS or Azure.Provision infrastructure using Terraform, including networking and access controls.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and pipeline-as-code.Manage build/deployment agents, artefacts, secrets, monitoring, and production support.Support Kong API Gateway, API onboarding, access management, and API security.Automate DevOps and change/request workflows to improve efficiency, control, and auditability.Essential Skills Strong software engineering experience in Java, C#/.NET, Python, or similar.Hands-on AWS or Azure experience.Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code knowledge.Excellent DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience.Knowledge of testing, SOLID, design patterns, code reviews, and refactoring.Understanding of cloud networking and secrets management.Strong awareness of security, governance, auditability, and operational excellence.
