Synopsis We are looking for a collaborative and commercially minded Technical Product Owner – Data to help shape, build and deliver our emerging suite of data products and services. This is a new role within our Commercial team, offering the opportunity to take ideas from concept through to customer-ready solutions. About The Role Reporting to the Head of Analytics and Data Commercialisation, you will own the product development backlog and guide data products through their full lifecycle. You will work closely with stakeholders, product teams and technology specialists to translate customer needs into clear, actionable product requirements. This role will suit someone who enjoys solving complex problems, bringing people together and turning data-driven opportunities into practical products customers can use. What You’ll Be Doing Own, develop and prioritise the product development backlog for data products and services. Work with stakeholders to understand customer needs, user requirements and commercial opportunities. Write clear, high-quality user stories and support effective prioritisation of development work. Help manage releases in line with operational requirements and business priorities. Lead geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams to bring product ideas to life. Support the delivery of new API frameworks, AI-ready data services and bulk data services. Translate complex technical and commercial concepts into clear product requirements. Champion continuous improvement across Product and Technology, challenging how we work, collaborate and solve problems. About You You are curious, proactive and highly collaborative, with a genuine interest in data and how it can create value for customers. Communication is one of your strengths, and you are confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You Will Bring Experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in a product development environment. A strong interest in data, with good working knowledge of cloud technologies and data structures. Understanding of APIs and experience working with AI models or AI-enabled solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience working in agile and/or DevOps environments. The confidence to lead, influence and support cross-functional teams. A practical, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to balance commercial value, technical feasibility and customer outcomes. Why join us?
