Description
Key responsibilities
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable software designs and technical specifications for Experian PowerCurve Collections solutions.
• Design, configure, develop and modify PowerCurve Collections components, workflows, treatment strategies and decisioning logic using PCC Studio and related modules.
• Develop JavaScript, HTML and CSS customisations for Page Designer screens, including client-side logic, dynamic forms, validation and user experience improvements.
• Design, build, test and maintain RESTful API integrations between PCC and external systems such as CRM platforms, core banking systems, payment gateways and data warehouses.
• Use PCC Connectivity and IDE to develop, debug, document and manage component-level customisations and version-controlled releases.
• Write and optimise Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries for data extraction, validation, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Test and debug software components and integrations, diagnose faults and implement reliable fixes across development, UAT and production environments.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation covering software designs, interfaces, configurations, deployment procedures and operational support requirements.
• Support PCC installation, upgrades, migrations, environment configuration and performance optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, DevOps engineers and business stakeholders to deliver secure, maintainable and scalable PCC solutions, and contribute to automated build, deployment, monitoring and release processes through CI/CD pipelines and scripting tools.
Qualifications, skills and experience
• A bachelor degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and recognised vendor certification.
• At least five years of relevant information technology experience, including at least three years of hands-on experience with Experian PowerCurve Collections version 2.x or later.
• Strong knowledge of PCC Studio, Page Designer, Connectivity and IDE-based development.
• Demonstrated software development experience using JavaScript, HTML and CSS for front-end customisation and dynamic form logic.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON structures, integration patterns and software interface design.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for data handling, reporting, debugging and performance tuning.
• Sound understanding of collections strategy design, case management and treatment-path configuration.
• Demonstrated software design, development, testing, debugging and production troubleshooting capability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Desirable experience
• Experience with Experian PowerCurve Originations in addition to PowerCurve Collections.
• Experience in banking, financial services, consumer lending or collections environments.
• Familiarity with Linux, JBoss or WebLogic and deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible or GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of ETL frameworks, data pipelines and integration orchestration tools.
• Experience with PCC version upgrades, multi-instance environments and environment management.
