Senior Software Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is looking for a senior engineer to help deliver the AVA Modernization program, moving a legacy platform to a cloud-native architecture using NX monorepo, NestJS services, event-driven integration, and MongoDB/Snowflake data patterns. This is a hands-on role with architecture influence across BFF, microservices, ingestors, and workers. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 5-10+ years of software engineering experience Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript Strong NestJS experience including modules, dependency injection, guards, interceptors, validation, and API design Angular 2.0+ experience (required) Experience designing and building REST APIs and microservices Experience working within event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar technologies) Strong understanding of API and event contract design Experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases Ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience with NX Monorepo environments Candidates with experience in other monorepo frameworks/tools will also be considered Working knowledge of C# and the ability to navigate existing codebases to understand business logic during modernization initiatives Experience with Azure Entra ID, OAuth, and OBO token flows Exposure to GraphQL integrations Snowflake experience Experience migrating legacy applications to cloud-native architectures Kubernetes/OpenShift experience Prior involvement in technical design or architecture discussions Pay: 50-65 Vacancy: New Vacancy (New Role) We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
