Role Description The Website Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu.
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining responsive and user-friendly websites that support Growthmandu’s learning and development offerings.
Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end interfaces, integrating back-end functionalities, optimizing website performance, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
The Website Developer will collaborate with designers, content teams, and product stakeholders to transform requirements into functional web pages and features.
The role also includes troubleshooting technical issues, updating existing sites, and following best practices for security, accessibility, and SEO.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development and Web Design skills, including experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development and Programming skills, such as working with server-side languages, databases, APIs, and version control systems.Candidates should possess solid Web Development skills, covering end-to-end website architecture, performance optimization, and integration of third-party tools or services.Candidates should have experience with modern development workflows and tools (e.g., Git, build tools, testing frameworks) and familiarity with UX/UI principles.Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Kathmandu, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Prior experience developing educational, SaaS, or platform-based websites is an advantage.
