ServiceNow Developer (Baseline) Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane OR Canberra Working Arrangement: 3 days onsite Start: 18th September 2026 (or as close to) Duration: 12 months + Rate: Flexible Security Clearance: Baseline Security Clearance required We’re seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join a large-scale Australian Federal Government program, working as part of a Software Engineering team to deliver and enhance ServiceNow solutions across a critical government environment. This is a hands-on development role, ideal for a ServiceNow Developer with solid platform experience who enjoys solving technical problems, developing scalable solutions and working collaboratively within an Agile delivery environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop and enhance ServiceNow solutions in line with best practices • Develop and customise ServiceNow applications, workflows and platform functionality • Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions • Participate in Agile development, technical discussions and knowledge sharing • Document solutions and identify opportunities for process and technical improvements Ideal Background ✔ Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer within enterprise or complex environments ✔ Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, configuration and customisation ✔ Experience developing and enhancing custom software solutions ✔ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills ✔ Ability to work independently and take ownership of development tasks ✔ Experience working within Agile delivery teams ✔ Experience with Build Management would be advantageous Additional Requirements • MUST hold an active Baseline Security Clearance • Available to commence on or around 18th September 2026 If you’re an experienced ServiceNow Developer looking for a long-term opportunity working on a significant Australian Federal Government program, please apply for more information.
