Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Claims Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter to design, develop, configure, and support insurance claims solutions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Guidewire development, Gosu programming, integrations, and insurance claims processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, configure, and customise Guidewire ClaimCenter applications based on business requirements.Work extensively with Gosu, Guidewire configuration, data model, PCF screens, rules, workflows, and validation.Develop and maintain integrations between ClaimCenter and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and web services.Analyse functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Develop and enhance claims workflows, business rules, screens, activities, and business logic.Work with the Guidewire data model, entities, typelists, extensions, and database concepts.Perform unit testing, debugging, defect resolution, and production support.Participate in code reviews and ensure development follows Guidewire and organisational standards.Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and other developers.Support Guidewire upgrades, deployments, and environment-related activities.Troubleshoot performance, integration, and application issues.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter development.Strong knowledge of Gosu programming.Experience with Guidewire configuration and customisation.Good understanding of ClaimCenter data model, PCF, rules, workflows, activities, and typelists.Experience developing REST/SOAP integrations and web services.Strong understanding of XML, JSON, APIs, and integration patterns.Good understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and claims processes.Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
Guidewire ClaimCenter certification.Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter.Experience with Guidewire Cloud.Knowledge of Guidewire Integration Gateway and cloud-based integrations.Experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps or similar DevOps tools.Experience working on Guidewire version upgrades or migration projects.
