Overview A fast-growing, Series A-backed private-markets investment intelligence platform is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to own and scale its cloud infrastructure end-to-end. This hybrid role in Manhattan focuses on architecture, DevOps automation, and security compliance across a modern AWS-based stack. What You'll Do Design and own scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK)Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitOps practicesImprove deployment workflows and developer efficiency tooling across the engineering teamImplement and own security and compliance processes, including SOC 2 Type 2Manage MDM and fleet management across the organizationSupport production systems and reduce dependency on external infrastructure consultantsPartner with engineering teams to improve scalability, resiliency, and operational excellenceBring observability practices to production systems using PostHog What We're Looking For Strong experience owning infrastructure end-to-end, ideally as a founding engineer or early hireHands-on experience with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code; expertise in AWS CDK preferredStrong software engineering background over pure ops/administrationTrack record scaling infrastructure from scratch at a Seed/Series A to B/C-stage startupExperience owning security and compliance processes (SOC 2, MDM)Comfort operating as a solo infra owner across architecture, DevOps, and securityStrong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced startup teams Compensation & Benefits Salary: $230,000 - $280,000 base + equity
