📍 Brisbane | Hybrid Working Arrangement 📅 12-Month State Government Contract + Extension Options Bridge IT Engineering is recruiting multiple Full Stack Developers to work with a major State Government department. About the Role The role is focused on designing, developing, testing and supporting modern cloud-native applications across front-end, back-end, integration and infrastructure layers. You will work across React, TypeScript, Python, AWS services, microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines to deliver secure, scalable and maintainable digital solutions. Key Responsibilities Front-End Development Design, develop and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript.Build responsive, role-based user interfaces using modern CSS and component libraries.Backend, APIs and Integration Develop and support cloud-native backend services and microservices.Design, develop and integrate RESTful APIs using OpenAPI specifications.Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration solutions using API and event-driven patterns.Develop backend services using Python.Support authentication and authorisation patterns including OAuth 2.0, OIDC and JWT.AWS Cloud Development Build secure, resilient and maintainable AWS-based solutions.Work with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora PostgreSQL, IAM, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager Parameter Store and CloudWatch.DevOps and Engineering Practices Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tooling.Participate in code reviews, solution design and architecture discussions.
