About The Role We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our client's engineering team. Requirements Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications using Java and Spring BootBuild and maintain microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs that serve high-volume trafficDevelop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services and best practicesDesign and optimize database solutions using NoSQL technologies, particularly DynamoDBWrite clean, maintainable, and high-quality code while adhering to coding standards and architectural best practicesParticipate in code reviews, identify bugs, and provide constructive feedback to team membersDebug complex issues, perform performance tuning, and optimize system efficiency across distributed environmentsImplement monitoring and observability solutions using Grafana and related tools to ensure system reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutionsContribute to architecture discussions and support the development of large-scale, distributed applicationsMaintain comprehensive technical documentation and ensure adherence to SDLC processesStay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in backend development and cloud computing Requirememnts 6+ years of professional experience in Java Backend DevelopmentStrong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+ with deep understanding of OOP concepts and design patternsHands-on expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture design and implementationStrong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and proven problem-solving skillsDemonstrated experience designing and developing REST APIs with proper error handling and validationHands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native application developmentStrong experience with NoSQL databases, particularly DynamoDB, including schema design and optimizationProficiency with Git and version control best practicesProven experience working on large-scale, high-volume distributed systemsStrong understanding of application scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization principlesExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as GrafanaExcellent debugging, analytical, and coding skills with attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesKnowledge of security best practices and secure coding standardsExperience with message queues and event-driven architecturesContribution to open-source projects or demonstrated passion for continuous learningExperience with agile development methodologies What We're Looking For You are a passionate backend developer with a strong foundation in Java and cloud technologies.
