About The Role The Full-Stack Web Developer at Asbury Automotive Group plays a vital role in supporting all company properties by managing and maintaining development-related functions. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, system integrations, and internal tools that enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to build user-friendly front-end interfaces and robust back-end systems. The developer will ensure continuous improvement through regular updates, maintenance, and upgrades of existing applications and integrations. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Sandy Springs, GA, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation to help the company leverage its digital channels effectively. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in web development and design, demonstrating a strong understanding of building comprehensive user interfaces that interact seamlessly with back-end data layers. Proficiency in Node.js frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Express, as well as PHP, is preferred. Experience with GitHub for project management and version control is essential. Graphic design skills are highly desirable, as they contribute to creating visually appealing and functional interfaces. Candidates must have the ability to develop and maintain large, data-driven applications, ensuring scalability and performance. A valid driver's license and a clean MVR are required, along with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the capacity to work well under pressure are critical for success in this role. Responsibilities Build and maintain web applications and system integrations to enhance operational capabilities and user experiences.Collaborate with team members to develop intuitive front-end interfaces for web-based applications.Design and develop internal applications and outward-facing websites aligned with business needs.Perform ongoing maintenance, updates, and upgrades of all applications and integrations to ensure optimal performance and security.Work with management to test new products, implement feature requests, and troubleshoot issues.Contribute to team efforts by achieving related goals and proactively adding features based on user feedback.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continually improve development processes.
