Golang developer

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Golang Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with strong expertise in Go/Golang. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications and backend services. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang.Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.Develop high-performance, reliable, and secure backend services.Work with databases and optimize queries and application performance.Implement unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective technical solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.Work with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.Contribute to system design, architecture, and technical documentation.Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements.Required Skills 5+ years of professional software development experience.5+ years of hands-on Golang/Go development experience.Strong knowledge of Go programming concepts, concurrency, goroutines, channels, and error handling.Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments.Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred Skills Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.Experience with gRPC.Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK.Experience working in distributed systems and cloud-native environments.Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
