Title:- Full Stack Java Developer – Capital Markets / DCM Experience: 12–15 Years Location: Toronto ON Domain: Capital Markets / Debt Capital Markets (DCM) – Preferred Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Java Developer with 10–15 years of hands-on software development experience to design, develop, and support high-performance enterprise applications within a Capital Markets / Debt Capital Markets environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, real-time messaging, cloud platforms, and modern frontend technologies, along with experience developing low-latency, scalable applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance full-stack applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.Develop production-quality code using Core Java, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, OOP, and advanced data structures.Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs for enterprise and financial applications.Develop multi-threaded and low-latency applications, with strong understanding of concurrency and performance optimization.Design and implement responsive frontend applications using technologies such as React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.Work with SQL and relational databases, including query optimization, database design, and performance tuning.Implement and integrate caching solutions, including MemSQL/SingleStore or similar technologies.Develop and integrate real-time messaging solutions using Solace, JMS, Kafka, or similar technologies.Deploy and manage applications across AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and Shell Scripting for application deployment and operational support.Participate in system design, architecture, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.Collaborate with global teams, business stakeholders, architects, and other technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Leverage GenAI tools and technologies such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools to improve development productivity where appropriate.Required Skills 12–15 years of professional software development experience.10–12 years of Core Java development experience.5–10 years of Spring Framework/Spring Boot experience.Strong knowledge of Java Concurrency, Multithreading, Collections, Data Structures, and OOP.Hands-on experience developing low-latency, high-throughput applications.Strong experience with Microservices and REST APIs.Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.Experience with caching technologies / MemSQL (SingleStore) is preferred.Hands-on experience with Solace/JMS and real-time messaging.Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and Shell Scripting.Full-stack development experience with React/ and JavaScript/TypeScript.Strong understanding of system design and software architecture.Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Nice to Have Experience in Capital Markets, particularly Debt Capital Markets (DCM).Understanding of financial operations, trading, securities, fixed income, or investment banking workflows.Experience with Kafka or other event-driven technologies.Exposure to GenAI tools, AI-assisted development, or Generative AI technologies.Experience working with global development and business teams.
