JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a PHP Software Engineer, your focus will be on developing server-side logic, defining and maintaining the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the application's front end.
You will integrate front-end web elements built by the Front-End team and be part of a full-stack, creative team responsible for all aspects of software development, from specification review and assessment through developing, code review, launching, and maintaining internal and external products.

As a PHP Software Engineer you would:
Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modulesSolve complex performance problems and architectural challengesWork closely with your team in completing projectsTroubleshoot and fix any issues relating to our PHP applicationsDevelop and test software for enterprise and/or client applicationsRefactor, optimize, and improve existing codebases for maintenance and scaleIntegration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developersConvey effectively the status of task progress, evaluations, suggestions, and schedulesProvide insights and improvements related to technical and process issuesDocument developed features and architecture
You have:
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experienceHigh proficiency working in PHPAt least one year of experience with LaravelProficiency working with MySQL or MariaDBProficiency working within a Linux environmentFamiliarity with version control software, such as GitFamiliarity with agentic code generation using frontier AI modelsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to explain complex technical problems to both technical and non-technical people
