Overview As a C# Software Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of advanced Architectural and CAD software solutions used by architects, designers, planners, and engineering professionals worldwide. Working within GRAITEC's R&D organization, you will help build high-performance desktop applications and 3D design tools that support digital design, modeling, visualization, and documentation workflows across the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) industry. You will be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to testing, optimization, maintenance, and product evolution. The role combines strong software engineering expertise using C#, .NET, and modern desktop technologies with a solid understanding of 3D graphics, geometric modeling, CAD systems, and architectural design workflows. As part of a collaborative Agile environment, you will work closely with Product Managers, QA Engineers, UX Designers, Architects, BIM Specialists, and fellow Software Developers to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-focused software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain Architectural and CAD software applications using C# and .NET technologies.Develop and enhance desktop applications, design tools, and core business logic supporting architectural workflows.Build and maintain features related to 2D drafting, 3D modeling, visualization, and design documentation.Develop efficient geometric algorithms, modeling tools, and CAD functionality for design and drafting environments.Contribute to software architecture, technical design discussions, and the evolution of platform capabilities.Ensure software quality through code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and engineering best practices.Optimize application performance, scalability, graphical rendering, and overall user experience.Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, Architecture, BIM, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality product releases.Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives across the product suite.Contribute to modernization efforts and adoption of emerging technologies, including cloud services, AI-powered capabilities, and AI-assisted development tools. Responsibilities 4+ years of professional software development experience.Strong experience developing desktop software applications using C# and .NET.Experience working with object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and modern software development practices.Experience developing desktop applications with complex business logic and user-facing functionality.Experience designing and implementing software components, APIs, libraries, and application frameworks.Experience working with 3D graphics, geometric modeling, CAD systems, or visualization technologies.Experience with software debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.Experience working with source control systems, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.Experience contributing throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and production support.Experience working within Agile software development environments. Nice-to-Have Experience Experience developing Architectural, CAD, BIM, or design software products.Experience with 3D graphics frameworks, rendering engines, or visualization technologies.Experience with geometry processing, computational geometry, or parametric modeling concepts.Experience working with Autodesk, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Archicad, or similar design platforms.Experience with OpenGL, DirectX, WPF 3D, Helix Toolkit, Unity, or comparable graphics technologies.Knowledge of architectural design processes, BIM methodologies, and AEC industry workflows.Experience integrating AI-powered capabilities or leveraging AI-assisted development tools. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Architecture Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, software design patterns, and application architecture.Good understanding of desktop application development, software architecture, and scalable design practices.Understanding of 3D graphics concepts, geometric modeling, spatial data structures, and visualization principles.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.Passion for technology, architecture, software innovation, and continuous learning.
