We are looking for a Front End Engineer responsible for implementing robust, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces.
You will work closely with designers, backend, and QA teams to turn requirements and designs into reusable components, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the product’s technical improvement through best practices and testing.
Responsibilities
Implement components and pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript following design specifications and style guides.Develop with at least one modern framework (React, Angular, Vue) and ensure clean integrations with REST/GraphQL APIs.Write and maintain unit and component tests (e.g., Jest, Testing Library) and follow practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) when applicable.Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback; mentor more junior developers.Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior across viewports and devices.Optimize application performance (rendering, load times, network usage) and apply techniques like lazy-loading and memoization.Ensure accessibility requirements (WCAG) and apply ARIA best practices.Diagnose and resolve technical issues; perform root cause analysis and propose mitigations.Collaborate with UX/Product to define component behaviors, acceptance criteria, and usage examples.Document components and frontend APIs, and keep repositories/Storybook up to date.Contribute to frontend architecture and design patterns and help adopt new tools when needed.Communicate impediments and risks to the team and lead small technical initiatives or proof-of-concepts.
Requirements
University degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Minimum 2 years of experience working with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).Strong management of AEM.Experience with at least one modern framework (React, Angular, or Vue) in production projects.Experience in responsive development and handling cross-browser compatibility.Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), DOM, and modular design best practices.Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows (pull requests, code review).Ability to write and maintain tests (unit and component tests).Basic knowledge of networking and web protocols (HTTP, TLS) and the request lifecycle.Awareness and application of web accessibility practices (WCAG/ARIA).Ability to work in agile teams and clearly communicate technical and product requirements.
Nice to have: experience with TypeScript, build tools (Webpack, Vite), CI/CD, state management (Redux, Vuex, NgRx), Storybook, and performance observability tools (Lighthouse, RUM).
